Question 1

Is my business ready for AI?

Accepted Answer

Most service businesses can benefit from better operations — and sometimes AI. The key factors are your current processes, the data you capture, your team's capacity for change and your leadership commitment. The free Business Bottleneck Assessment shows the likely constraint and whether automation should wait. We also offer a 20-minute call to discuss your specific situation.

Question 2

Why do you improve the business before implementing AI?

Accepted Answer

AI amplifies what's already there — both the good and the bad. If you automate a broken process, you get a faster broken process. That's why we always start by understanding and improving the underlying operation first. Businesses that take this approach consistently achieve better results, faster adoption and a stronger return on investment.

Question 3

What is Agentic AI?

Accepted Answer

Agentic AI refers to AI systems that can take autonomous, multi-step actions to complete complex tasks — rather than simply responding to a single prompt. An AI agent might receive a customer enquiry, qualify the lead, check your calendar, draft a proposal and book a meeting, all without any human intervention. This goes significantly further than traditional chatbots or simple automation tools, and is where the most transformative business applications of AI currently exist.

Question 4

Do you have a preferred AI platform or tool?

Accepted Answer

No. We don't have commercial relationships that bias us towards specific vendors or platforms. We select the tools, AI models and frameworks that are genuinely best suited to your business context, budget and requirements. This independence is one of the things clients value most about working with us.

Question 5

How do I know which service is right for me?

Accepted Answer

The 20-minute call is the best starting point. We'll understand your business and your goals and give you an honest recommendation. If you want a picture first, the Business Bottleneck Assessment shows where to focus before any technology.

Question 6

What happens on the 20-minute call?

Accepted Answer

We'll have an honest conversation about your business — how it operates, the challenges you face and what would make the week lighter. We'll share our view of what's possible, what the likely approach would be and whether we think we're the right fit. If we're not, we'll tell you.

Question 7

Do I need to know about AI before we start?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. We work with business owners who know nothing about AI and those who are already experimenting with tools. Our role is to translate AI into business language — helping you make good decisions without requiring technical knowledge.

Question 8

How long does an AI strategy engagement take?

Accepted Answer

A typical AI strategy and readiness assessment takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of your business and the number of processes we review. The output is a clear, actionable roadmap you can begin implementing immediately.

Question 9

How long does an AI implementation project take?

Accepted Answer

A focused automation project can typically deliver results in 4–8 weeks. More complex Agentic AI systems or multi-system integrations generally take 2–4 months. We scope every project clearly before starting so you know what to expect.

Question 10

How much does it cost to work with Think Beyond Automation?

Accepted Answer

Our fees depend on the scope and complexity of the work. We're always transparent about costs before any commitment. Book a 20-minute call to discuss your specific situation and we'll give you an honest assessment of what's likely to be involved.

Question 11

Will you still be involved after the AI system goes live?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We include a post-launch support and optimisation period in every implementation. Beyond that, we offer ongoing support, monitoring and continuous improvement services. AI systems improve over time with real-world data, and we stay available to help you get the maximum value from what we've built.

Question 12

Can you work with businesses outside of London?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we're UK-based, we work with businesses across the UK. Most of our engagements can be delivered remotely, with in-person sessions where they add genuine value.

Question 13

Do we have to implement the AI ourselves after the strategy engagement?

Accepted Answer

No. We can deliver the strategy and then step back so you implement independently, with another supplier, or with your own team — the roadmap we produce is designed to be actionable with or without our ongoing involvement. Many clients choose to continue working with us through implementation, but it's always your choice.

Question 14

How do you ensure our team actually adopts the AI?

Accepted Answer

Change management and adoption are built into every implementation project — not treated as an afterthought. We train your people in practical, jargon-free sessions, address concerns proactively and help create the internal conditions for lasting adoption. This is one of the reasons our implementations tend to perform better than average — we treat people as carefully as we treat the technology.
